	Here is some national information we recently  received from the Borough Office! " Fed up with litter? Like to make where you live a better place? Well now's your big chance.  Keep Britain Tidy is launching the Big Tidy Up, the country's biggest ever litter tidy up! We are encouraging people to have their tidy up in September 2008, Schools, groups, businesses, or even just you and your mates - lets all get together and have a great  Big Tidy Up! " I think we all appreciated that Cathedral Meadows was always looking quite tidy. However   we recognised that the bridge and the walk area towards the Tesco Express shop certainly needed a tackle! Therefore Cathedral Meadows Association supported the Borough and aimed  to tidy up that area to the bottom of our area on Tuesday September 30th . The Borough provided handy litter picks, gloves and any additional bags for our litter pick. There was lots of pick!     THE BIG TIDY UP in SEPTEMBER 30th
